exposed page

An anonymous account, often tied to one school, that posts embarrassing photos, rumours or secrets about students.

Did you see what the exposed page posted about her?

For parents and educators

These pages cause real harm, and some even ask students to pay to get posts removed. Running one or sending it content can get a teen suspended or charged. Ask your child if their school has one, without making them feel accused.

If you’re worried

Screenshot the posts, report the account to the app, and tell the school. If the posts include sexual images of a minor, report them to Cybertip.ca. Kids Help Phone: 1-800-668-6868 or text 686868.

Where it came from

A long-running form of cyberbullying on Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.
