What does “Y/N” mean?

Short for 'your name'. It's a blank in fan fiction where the reader pictures themselves in the story, often next to a favourite singer or character. Harmless daydreaming and often a kid's first try at writing. Some stories on open sites are written for adults, so it's fair to ask which sites they read on.
