plug

Someone who can get you something, most often a drug dealer. It can also mean a regular source for anything, like sneakers or concert tickets.

For parents and educators

Context matters a lot: "my sneaker plug" is harmless. If it comes up about vapes or drugs, especially someone who sells through social media, it is worth a direct, calm conversation. Drugs bought online can contain things the buyer does not expect.

If you’re worried

If someone may have taken something and feels unwell, call your provincial poison centre (in Québec, the Centre antipoison du Québec), or 911 in an emergency. Kids Help Phone: 1-800-668-6868 or text 686868.
