struggle
To have a hard time. Dropped into French sentences unchanged: 'j'ai struggle' means 'I struggled'.
J'ai full struggle sur le devoir de chimie. (I really struggled with the chemistry homework.)
For parents and educators
Harmless franglais. If 'struggle' comes up a lot about school, it's worth asking where they're stuck.
Where it came from
English verb used inside French. Radio-Canada noted teens often don't even conjugate it.
Also heard as
j'ai struggle, struggler
