raid
When a streamer ends their stream and sends all their viewers to another streamer's channel at once.
A big streamer raided me last night and my chat went crazy!
For parents and educators
Usually a friendly gesture between streamers. Hate raids, where accounts flood a chat with abuse, also exist, so a child who streams should know where the chat protection settings are.
Where it came from
A Twitch feature. In other games, a raid also means a group mission.
Also heard as
raided, raiding, raid train
