creeper
The green Minecraft monster that sneaks up and explodes. Saying 'creeper' and getting 'aw man' back is a running meme.
Creeper! ... Aw man.
For parents and educators
Totally harmless. Outside of Minecraft, a creeper can also mean a creepy person, so context tells you which one.
Where it came from
From Minecraft and the 2011 parody song Revenge by CaptainSparklez. In 2019 it became a game in Discord servers to type the lyrics in order.
Also heard as
Creeper, aw man, creeper aw man, Revenge
